Designed by a McFarland grad, now McFarland parent - designs will be printed in Spartan blue on heather grey offered in a variety of clothing styles and sizes (infant-5x).

Specific clothing style options to come with options for the whole community to order. Voting ends July 30th with final design unveiled at the August 5th PTO Meeting - JOIN US at the Municipal Center Training Room 7pm!

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m so excited to introduce myself as the new Communications Coordinator for the McFarland EC-8 PTO! My name is Megan, and I’m a McFarland parent who is passionate about building community, celebrating our schools, and helping families stay connected and informed.

You’ll be seeing more posts, updates, event information, volunteer opportunities, and fun highlights from around our schools coming from me this year. My goal is to make communication clear, engaging, and helpful while also showcasing the amazing things happening throughout our EC-8 community. 💙

I’m incredibly excited to work alongside such dedicated PTO volunteers, staff, and families to help make this school year a great one for our kids.

This past meeting, we voted new leadership that included co-presidents, communication, secretary, and treasurer.

New to the PTO board but have been actively involved for the last year.

Having grown up in McFarland I know and appreciate the impact a community and great school system can have on a person. When it came to raising our kiddos we chose to move back to do that here and I wanted to be actively involved in what that looks like from a parent’s perspective and the impact I can make on the youth in our community in conjunction with their school experience. Most excited for Trunk-or-Treat!

I’m excited to work alongside Jess as Co-President to help support the students, staff, and families of our school community. I value the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way and help ensure the PTO continues to have a positive, visible impact.

Behind every smooth school day is a team making a hundred things happen before most people even realize they’re needed.

Sharing from the McFarland smore—two of our amazing ✨Spartan Star✨ staff, 2nd grade teacher Christine Punzel and 1st grade teacher Brenda Rotunno, have been selected for the Kohl Teacher Fellowship, one of the top honors for educators in the state. We’re so proud!

We’d also love to recognize this year’s nominees—Megan Albrecht, Lindsay Fix, and Amy Paugel. The nomination process is incredibly rigorous, and their dedication deserves to be celebrated. 👏

🥔❤️ ✏️A little love from the McFarland EC-8 PTO!

Last night during conferences, the PTO treated our incredible teachers and staff to a baked potato bar to help keep them fueled through a long evening of connecting with families. From sour cream and cheese to other delicious toppings (and a handful of treats), we wanted to make sure they had something warm and hearty between conferences.

We even discovered a heart-shaped potato while prepping — which felt pretty fitting! Because everything we do is really about showing how much our school community appreciates the time, care, and heart our staff pours into our kids every single day. ❤️

Huge thanks to the volunteers who helped supply, wrap, and prep (over 90 taters!) and to everyone who helped make this small act of appreciation happen.

We’re so grateful for our Waubesa Intermediate School staff! ✏️🥔
